Berger Paints - A rare timber courtesy chair

A brief History of Berger Paints..........they just keep on keeping on!!!Berger Paints have a long and distinguished history of over two hundred years, begining in London in 1760.  In 1916,  Berger began its Australian operation at Rhodes, NSW, building the largest timber structure in the Southern Hemisphere. In the 20's, Berger paint was used by aviator Charles Kingford Smith's famous Southern Cross and in 1925 by the Ford Motor Company and in 1932 Berger had supplied 60,000 gallons of paint to protect the Sydney Harbour Bridge steelwork .
